Portland in September

I've been to Portland a few times now.  It's my special retreat with my best friend in the whole wide world. Many friends ask what I do there, so here you go, a recap of my September Portland Adventure

This time we drank cubano lattes (yum) at the Blue Kangaroo, grabbed homemade breakfast treats at the Grand Central Bakery, visited the very cool Portland Homestead Supply Company,  made the prerequisite visit to several Goodwill thrift shops, the Columbia Outlet and the Saturday Market.  We visited McMinnville for some amazing homemade pizza at the 3rd Street Pizza Co. (which also doubles as a theater).  We went old school, which is easy to do in Portland, as we visited the last drive in movie theater in Newberg, followed by a walk around the deserted Oaks Amusement Park.  I tried my first apple kombucha (another yum) and enjoyed catching up with a high school friend at the Sapphire Hotel in Hawthorne.  I also got to do a photo shoot on Sauvie Island which made me dream of long skirts, quiet days, untold stories and life on a farm.  I think that's it!  See Rachael, we did do a lot of great things.  xoxoxo
