Vancouver Fashion Week | Opening Night | 2014
Last night was the opening gala for Vancouver Fashion Week. So much creativity and beauty. These are some behind the scenes images before the show began. #VFW
Portraits for Work
I had the wonderful experience today of photographing the Finning Building off of Great Northern Way in Vancouver. The building will be demolished soon. Finning retirees were invited back to say good-bye to their old work place (the building was erected in the 60's) and see what was in store for the land in the future. Finning has donated the land to Emily Carr, UBC, SFU and BCIT. A digital media school and two galleries are already on site.
Head shot taken outdoors in West Vancouver for local Vancouver financial planner. I love the way this turned out. All the best Michael!
Yesterday I got the honour of photographing Rope For Hope, a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish BC & YK. These brave souls rappelled off the Hyatt Vancouver to raise funds for children facing life threatening medical conditions. It was a fantastic event filled with relieved and elated participants. Since I was the photographer on the ground I got the thrill of seeing these happy faces. I understand that the photographer on the top has quite different images -ha! Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers, donors, fundraisers and vendors who made this event a huge success. A day to remember! Spark your interest? Registration is open for 2015!
